What is Surefoot Antislip?
Surefoot Antislip is a unique and virtually invisible liquid applied safety surfacing treatment for:
Surefoot Antislip treatment for ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, granite and porcelain is applied in many public areas such as swimming pools, entrance areas, leisure centres, shopping malls, showers, changing rooms and restaurants.
Surefoot Antislip bonds tenaciously below the surface and within the pores of the floor finish without affecting the aesthetic appearance or surface integrity of the flooring material.
Surefoot Antislip expands above the surface on contact with moisture to dramatically increase the coefficient of friction or slip resistance (SRV). Even the moisture from a wet shoe or bare foot is enough to activate an instant reaction.
Surefoot Antislip treatment for ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, granite and porcelain can be applied with minimal disruption and downtime and can be walked on immediately following application.
Surefoot Antislip is non hazardous and odour free which means that it can be applied in cordoned off public areas during normal business or trading hours.
Surefoot Antislip is effective with a wide variety of footwear and provides outstanding anti-slip properties even where bare feet are concerned.
Surefoot Antislip treatment for ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, granite and porcelain increases the coefficient of friction or slip resistance by moisture reaction and not by an acid etching process.
Surefoot Antislip has proven in practical site conditions to reduce the growth of bacteria.
Surefoot Antislip treatment for ceramic tiles, quarry tiles, granite and porcelain, unlike traditional safety surfacing treatments, does not alter the aesthetic appearance or integrity of the substrate which means that decorative tiled or natural stone surfaces such as marble or granite appear virtually unchanged.
This link will take you to a bar in Bolton which when newly refurbished in 2015 had a serious issue when the black and white floor tiles were wet and a number of minor injuries were sustained owing to thsi problem. Between the hours of 5am and 10am on a Sunday morning we treated the floor with Surefoot Antislip and the problem was gone. The only issue thereafter was an issue with the cleaners complaining that where previously their cleaning mops slid effortlessly across the porcelain floor tiles it was now hard work because the Surefoot Antislip treatment reacted instantly with water, creating resistance when the mops were applied to the floor.
